Being introduced to the finer side of music at an early age, Liam de Souza began his journey as an electronic music producer and performer in 2003.
Having already picked up the guitar in his teens, as well as the bass and keyboards, transitioning into the world of electronica was pretty natural to him. Prior to producing electronic music, he composed and wrote lyrics for the bands he performed in.
In 2003, he started out as primarily a break-beat producer, but as his he fine-tuned his skills in the genre he started branching out into other genres. It’s only natural that a person who’s been influenced by the likes of Sasha, BT, The Prodigy, Way Out West, Oasis, Garbage, The Cardigans and, of course, The Beatles would not restrict himself to one sound.
In his live sets, he tries to incorporate a lot of various sounds that compliment each other, so as to create a diverse sound scape. Anything from house to hip hop; down tempo to dub step; funk to alternative; it’s all fair game as he tries to create a fun and fresh set that’s enjoyable to everyone.
